在台北101金融大樓的中庭，一座高達十米的竹編結構自天穹垂落，如壯麗的空間織景，回應城市的脈動與韻律。作品「10101」由10,101片竹篾編織而成的片狀結構錯落懸掛，數字的邏輯不僅象徵數位時代的二進位結構，也呼應台北101的符號性。數字的概念被轉化為層層排列的視覺語言，使秩序與有機交錯生長，展現數位與工藝、幾何與自然的融合。

 

竹編圖飾如萬花筒般變幻莫測，錯落間透出奇幻與精巧的幾何美感。紋理時而如葉脈舒展，時而似微觀生命結構，隨光影變化，營造靈動而飄渺的感知體驗。

 

裝置的核心，一顆鏡面圓球懸浮其中，捕捉並折射環境變化——建築的線條、竹編的紋理、光影的流動、行人的步履皆在其中交會。它既是靜止的凝視點，更宛如城市記憶的載體，映照人與環境的互動關係。竹的纖細與韌性懸浮於高樓內部，回應建築尺度，靜謐而強韌，使時間的節奏在縱向延展間舒緩與停留。

In the atrium of Taipei 101 Financial Tower, a towering ten-meter bamboo structure descends from the sky, weaving a magnificent spatial tapestry that echoes the pulse and rhythm of the city.

 

The work 10101 is composed of 10,101 bamboo strips, intricately woven into a fragmented, suspended form that seems to float within the space. The logic of the numbers not only symbolizes the binary structure of the digital age but also resonates with the iconic symbolism of Taipei 101. The concept of numbers is transformed into a visual language of layered arrangements, where order and organic growth intertwine, showcasing the fusion of digital and craft, geometry and nature.

 

The bamboo weaving unfurls like a kaleidoscope, ever-changing and unpredictable, where, within its irregularities, a delicate and wondrous geometric beauty comes to life. At times, its texture spreads like the veins of a leaf; at others, it resembles the microscopic structures of life. As the light and shadow shift, it creates a dynamic, ethereal sensory experience.

 

At the heart of the installation, a mirrored orb floats suspended, capturing and refracting the changing environment—the building’s lines, the woven bamboo textures, the fluidity of light and shadow, and the footsteps of passersby converging within it. It serves not only as a still point of reflection but also as a vessel for the city’s memory, mirroring the dynamic interaction between people and their environment.

 

The delicate yet resilient bamboo seems to hover within the towering structure, responding to the scale of the architecture. Silent yet strong, it evokes a sense of tranquility and resilience, as the rhythm of time gently unfolds and lingers in the expansive verticality of the space.
